When Nathaniel Coleman first scoped out the textured edges on a stately project boulder in the Swell, he thought the line might go at V9 or so. That grade began to creep up to double digits as he and Ben Tresco started working with the sub-par feet and extreme tension required to execute the sequence. After days of projecting, Coleman confirmed… it goes.
Buckhorn Wash, home to meandering backcountry trails, 2000-year-old red ochre pictographs, and a handful of proud trad lines, now boasts Utah’s newest V14: Power of the Psych. Congrats to Nathaniel on the send from all of us in the Momentum community!
