 Format

This year’s SODO Showdown will use a Modified Redpoint Format. You will have three hours to climb as many climbs within your category as possible. Your final score will be determined by your total number of tops within your chosen category. Number of attempts will be used to break any ties. Register Below!

Categories

Category selection should reflect what the climber can regularly redpoint, not necessarily their hardest send ever. Ex. If they are projecting V7 and sending them with some level of regularity, that climber would be in Advanced (even if they have maybe sent a V8 or two). 

• • Beginner (V0-V3)
  • Intermediate (V4-V5)
  • Advanced (V6-V7)
  • Open (V8+)

Fun Stuff

Trace Blends will be spinning records during the climbing session, and we’ll have a food truck here later in the evening, food ticket is included with admission! Registration also includes entry into a prize drawing, so you’ll have a chance to take home some swag!
