What age is old enough?

Our birthday parties are available to climbers as young as 3 years old!

What time can I come in to set up?

Arrive 15 minutes early to set up decorations with assistance from our Party Hosts. They’ll help unload your car and prepare the party area for a hassle-free start.

How large are your tables?

Our tables are 6 feet long. The white table cloths we use are 54in x 108in if you are looking to bring your own.

What do I need to bring? What can I bring?

We’ve got you covered with everything except the food and climbers! Our paper goods come in orange or white, but feel free to bring themed items if you prefer. Please bring along any other decorations you like, as long as they’re easy to clean up and don’t include noisy party favors, confetti, silly string, or other hard-to-clean-up items. Cake candies are allowed; we have a lighter and a knife for cutting on hand if needed.

What about food?

Feel free to bring your own food and drinks, or opt for delivery. While we can accommodate some items in our staff fridge (space permitting), please check with the gym beforehand. Most major pizza chains deliver to our gym, but you’re welcome to choose other options too.

To avoid delays, we suggest arranging food delivery 45 minutes before the end of the party or earlier.

What is the flow of the birthday party?

Our party experiences are as diverse as the climbers, influenced by age, climbing skills, and food arrangements. However, our commitment to safety and seamless organization remains constant. Here’s a glimpse into our standard procedure:

Before:

  • Guests can begin arriving up to 15 minutes prior to the start time.
  • Party Hosts will assist with unloading food and decorations and setting them up in the Party Area.
  • Front desk staff will check in participants, providing wristbands and climbing essentials.
  • Participants will leave street shoes and presents in the Party Area while Hosts start them off with a game. 

During:

  • Once all birthday party attendees have arrived, we will watch a 4-minute Bouldering Safety video.
  • Once all birthday party attendees have arrived, the real fun begins! Participants will have the opportunity to explore our adult bouldering and kid’s areas, which are packed with a variety of climbing challenges and games (both on and off the wall!). Our knowledgeable hosts will be there to guide them every step of the way.
  • 35 minutes before the party ends, participants will remove their climbing gear and wash their hands.
  • Party Hosts will serve food, drinks, and cake, followed by singing Happy Birthday.

After:

  • Party Hosts will tidy up the Party Area for you and assist in taking your belongings to your car.
  • Our Front Desk will assist with check-out and charge the party’s remaining balance.
  • While tipping Party Hosts is not expected, it’s always appreciated. You will have the option to add a tip to the final total charged to your card.

Can we climb after we eat?

At our parties, the eating portion marks the conclusion of the climbing session. If you intend to bring a lighter snack, please inform us in advance so we can adjust the schedule to allow more climbing time beforehand.

Furthermore, if climbers wish to continue climbing after the party, they must purchase a day pass at the front desk.

What about parents/siblings/others that want to come?

The participant count you provide when booking includes those who will be climbing. Spectators are welcome to join us for food and cake at no additional charge; however, we require them to sign a waiver.

Please note that our party area has limited seating, so we recommend limiting the number of spectators to avoid overcrowding.

What if the number of climbers changes?

The final price for the party is determined, in part, by the number of staff scheduled for the event. If you book 10 participants but only 5 show up, the party price remains unchanged. However, an additional $20 per climber will be added to the total if you have more climbers than initially booked.

We must have an accurate count as soon as possible before the party. If adjustments need to be made, such as removing a Party Host a day or two ahead of time, it’s not a problem.

Please remember that having more attendees than scheduled can slow down the climbing and overcrowd the party area.

We are excited to celebrate with you! Our birthday parties will get your kids climbing in a fun and controlled environment. We do the heavy lifting by taking care of setup, clean-up, and belaying the kids up and down the wall.
