Active Recovery
These classes focus on recovery, blending specific movements, stretches, and myofascial release to target areas of stress and tightness. Whether you’re recovering from intense activity or daily life, this class helps alleviate tension. Savasana, or another restful pose, enhances the recovery process. Class content is tailored to the students’ needs on the day.
Climber Stretch
Tailored specifically for climbers, this class focuses on flexibility drills, joint care, and range-of-motion exercises to prepare the body for climbing without fatigue. The class provides an excellent warm-up, targeting key areas needed for safe and successful climbs. Savasana is not included in this format.
Functional Movement
Functional Movement classes focus on joint mobility and muscle function, improving stability, flexibility, and overall body mechanics. While breath is incorporated, the emphasis is on practical movements that enhance daily life and performance in other activities. These movements may be standalone or woven into other styles.
Fundamentals/Foundations
Perfect for both beginners and seasoned practitioners, Fundamentals classes break down the core concepts and poses of yoga. This is not necessarily a gentle class; it’s designed to deepen your understanding and technique. Whether you’re new to yoga or want to refine your practice, Fundamentals is a great place to start or grow.
Hatha/Alignment Yoga
In this alignment-focused practice, you’ll explore each pose in-depth, emphasizing breath and biomechanics for optimal body health. Poses are held longer to deepen awareness and sensation. Many classes incorporate themes, helping to connect the physical practice with daily life. Classes typically end with a Savasana or a short meditation, depending on the teacher’s style. Music may be used, but Hatha is traditionally silent.
Kids/Family Yoga
Help children (and families) build self-regulation, body awareness, and strength through creative and engaging yoga practices. Whether in a dedicated kids’ class or a family session, these offerings foster connection, stress relief, stability, and flexibility, ensuring fun and growth for all ages.
Myofascial Rollout
Utilize specialized tools to release tight fascia and tension throughout the body. Myofascial release promotes better mobility and flexibility, enhancing recovery and performance. It’s ideal as a warm-up before a workout or a standalone practice. This method helps calm the nervous system, making it a powerful tool for full-body release.
Pilates
While Pilates is often associated with core strength, these mat-based classes offer a full-body workout designed to build strength and awareness. Our skilled instructors guide students through safe progressions toward more challenging variations. Pilates may stand alone or be combined with yoga for a balanced practice.
Power Yoga
Experience a dynamic blend of movement and breath, combined with powerful poses held longer to build strength, elevate your heart rate, and generate internal heat. These balanced classes finish with a cool-down and an extended Savasana (final resting pose) to fully absorb the practice. Expect upbeat music in some classes to enhance the energy.
Primal Movement
Engage your body in functional, instinctive movements that mimic animal patterns and ancestral survival strategies. These classes may not look like traditional yoga but offer mindful, full-body workouts. By practicing crawling, squatting, pushing, pulling, and more, you’ll increase mobility, flexibility, and stability—perfect for climbing or any physical activity. Primal movements can be stand-alone or integrated into other classes.
Restore
Restore your body and mind with this deeply relaxing practice. Using props, you’ll hold poses longer, allowing your muscles and connective tissues to fully release. This practice calms the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety while promoting stability, strength, and cardiovascular health. These classes may include gentle movements or myofascial release to complement the restorative poses.
Vinyasa Flow
Flow through a series of postures linked with breath, creating a harmonious connection between body and mind. These sequences can vary in pace, either slower or faster, depending on the class energy. Vinyasa cultivates a full-body experience, leading to a deep release in Savasana. Some teachers may use music to set the tone for a specific vibe.
Yin Yoga
Yin invites you to find your “comfortable edge” and hold poses for an extended period, targeting the deeper tissues of the body. While Yin involves stillness, it gently stresses connective tissues, making it more active than it may appear. Though some poses resemble restorative yoga, Yin is designed to challenge tissues, not just relax them. It’s a still, yet profound practice.
Yoga Sculpt
Yoga Sculpt blends traditional yoga with the added challenge of weights, creating a full-body, heart-pumping workout. You’ll build strength, increase your heart rate, and sweat through plyometrics and resistance training. Teachers provide alignment cues and modifications to ensure a safe, effective class.
